The story goes: Once upon a time, in a small village by the Vat stream, there was a couple who loved each other dearly. When the country fell into chaos, the young man volunteered to defend his homeland and the two made a promise to return to reunite. The girl stayed at home, waiting day and night for her lover to return. Until one day, there was a gloomy storm and the girl disappeared from there. The villagers searched everywhere but only found her bib stuck on a tree branch by the stream. From then on, people called this waterfall Dai Yem Waterfall to commemorate the girl’s faithful love and sacrifice. Her bib is like a soft silk strip, embracing the waterfall, becoming a symbol of eternal love.
