Itinerary

Day 1: Danang Arrival – City Tour in Danang (Dinner) 

Welcome to Vietnam. Smile Travel‘s car and guide will pick you up at Da Nang airport to depart for Son Tra peninsula. This is the first destination in the Central Vietnam itinerary 5 days, located 20 km northeast of Da Nang city center. Son Tra peninsula is like a barrier, which protects Da Nang from storms and bad weather conditions. Upon arrival, you can see the panoramic view of Da Nang city and take photos. 

After that, we will visit Linh Ung Pagoda, which has the statue of Quan The Bodhisattva is 67m high, the tallest in Vietnam, and many sophisticated statues. 

Next, the tour guide, who is knowledgeable about the locality, will lead you everywhere to see and learn about the outstanding features of famous architecture in Da Nang. For example: 

• The Han River Bridge – Vietnam’s first rotated bridge, is a modern architectural symbol and the pride of the people of Da Nang. 
• Dragon Bridge: The icon is inseparable from Da Nang city. 
• APEC Park 
• Love Bridge 
• Chicken Church (or Cathedral Church) – Unique ancient architecture which has large meaning, especially for Catholic tourists. 

⚠️ Note: The Dragon Bridge Fire Exhibition will be held on Saturdays and Sundays at 9 pm. 

Stop at a local restaurant, you will have dinner with the city’s specialties. In addition, vegetarian food is always available.

Overnight at a hotel in Da Nang

Day 2: Danang – Marble Mountain – Hoian Basket Boat – Ancient Town of Hoi An (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

You will have breakfast at the hotel before we take you to visit Marble Mountains – the mountain range is named after five elements of the universe. Here, you will have the opportunity to admire the beautiful scenery of the sky and the clouds, explore the caves and the sacred temples such as Linh Ung Pagoda, Tam Thai Pagoda, Huyen Khong Cave,… 

After that, you will visit the stone village of Hoa Hai before moving to Hoi An. It is a Non Nuoc stone village, which is more than 300 years old. You will definitely be overwhelmed by delicate stone artworks, created from skilled artisans.

Goodbye Da Nang in a short time, visitors get in the car and drive to Cam Thanh Island in Hoi An. Here, you can visit buffalo and rice farms, walk on round fishing boats and catch crabs. This is a great time to relax and explore a real Central Vietnam. You will board a basket boat to explore the Bay Mau Coconut Forest and: 

• Learn how to make rings, hats, clocks with coconut leaves from local people. 
• Watch the basket boat performance performed by experienced artisans. 

At noon, we will move to a local restaurant and enjoy the unique flavor dishes. Note that we always have vegetarian food for vegetarians. 

After taking a break, tourists will be taken to Hoi An Ancient Town. You will be free to walk around the old town – UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. Here, you can visit old houses, Guangdong halls, Japanese bridges,… – ancient architectural works, and learn about the history and lives of local people. 

After having dinner at a local restaurant, you can continue to enjoy the scenery of the old town at night.

Overnight at a hotel in Hoi An

Day 3: Hoi An – Ba Na Hills -Golden Bridge (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

8:00: After breakfast at the hotel, you get in the car to depart for Ba Na Hills. We will go along the tourist route Nguyen Tat Thanh, the most beautiful sea route in Central Vietnam. On the way, you also have the opportunity to see the longest suspension bridge in Vietnam – Thuan Phuoc suspension bridge, Red beach – where the French colonialists arrived in Vietnam first and Thanh Binh beach. 

9:00: The car stops at the Ba Na – Suoi Mo cable car station, where you will start the journey to the mountain peak with the cable car system reaching four world records. On the way, you can see the Mo stream with white saliva, red-leaved trees and primeval forests. 

The cable car will stop for you to visit Linh Ung Pagoda (unlike Linh Ung Pagoda in Son Tra peninsula), where the Buddha statue is 27 meters high.. 

After that, we will go through the colorful flower garden “Le Jardin d’Amour” before coming to the Golden Bridge. This bridge has a length of 150 meters, supported by a huge hand and is covered with clouds and very close to the sky. Walking here, you will feel like straying into a fairy scene. 

Arrive at Debay Station, you will follow the 2nd cable line to reach Ba Na Hills. 

We will stop at the third largest indoor park in the Fantasy Park. This is the time for you to completely relax when participating in many exciting and fun games such as Dinosaur Park, Skiver Pilot, Love Wheel, Tramcar, Mill Wind, Fire Track, Haunted House, Free-Falling Tower, Spider-Man. (Most of these games are free) 

After “release” moments, you will settle in the romantic and peaceful scenery of the square, French village, and mountains,… 

At the end of the morning, visitors will have lunch with buffet buffet at Ba Na Hills. 

You will spend time the whole afternoon to continue resting, playing and admiring the spectacular scenery in Ba Na Hills. 

16:00: You take the cable car down the mountain and drive to the local restaurant for dinner.

Overnight at the hotel in Da Nang

Day 4: Danang – Hue Imperial Citadel (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

7:30: Smile Travel‘s car and guide will welcome you at the meeting place after breakfast at the hotel to move to Hue. On the way, you will visit the longest tunnel in Southeast Asia – Hai Van tunnel, and Lang Co beach. 

9:30: After coming to Hue, you will have two options to visit, namely: 

• Khai Dinh Tomb – A unique work in the style of East-West architecture combined. 
• Tu Duc Tomb – The place is considered the most beautiful architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty in Vietnam. 

11:30: Our tour guide will take you to a famous local restaurant, where you can enjoy Hue specialties. Again again, vegetarian dishes are always available for vegetarians. 

13:00: After lunch break, we will move to the Imperial Citadel of Hue – a remaining historical monument of the last feudal dynasty in Vietnam, the Nguyen Dynasty. 

14:30: You will continue the Central Vietnam itinerary 5 days in Thien Mu Pagoda. This is an ancient temple lying quietly on the poetic Huong River and is like the “soul” of the ancient capital. 

16:00: Goodbye the oldest and most beautiful religious architecture in Hue, you get in the car to return to the hotel to rest shortly before dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 5: Danang Departure (Breakfast)

On the last day of the Central Vietnam itinerary, you will have time to freely explore Da Nang. You also can walk and go shopping at famous markets such as Con Market and Han Market before transferring to the airport to fly home. End of the Central Vietnamese itinerary 5 days.
