Itinerary
8h00 – 8h30: Tour guide and Bus of Smile Travel pick up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and start the Hanoi luxury city tour full day.
08h45: The first place of this Hanoi City tour full day is Ho Chi Minh Complex. It is the final resting place of Uncle Ho – A Vietnamese great father. This is a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh President and walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969.
Then, you visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Goddess of Mercy. This is the most unique pagoda in the world.
⚠️ Note:
– Should dress modestly and politely by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting pagodas, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, temples, etc.
– Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Monday and Friday every week. But, you still can visit around that area and take picture of the Mausoleum.
– Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15th June -15th August) for the annual maintaining.
10h15: The next place of Hanoi luxury city tour full day is Vietnam Ethnology Museum. Here, you have a opportunity to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam.
⚠️ Special Note: On Mondays, Vietnam Ethnology Museum is closed. Instead of, we will explore Vietnamese Women’s Museum.
12h30-12h45: Have lunch at a local restaurant in Hanoi. This is an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine. Vegeterian foods are available.
13h30: Continue Hanoi luxury city tour full day in Tran Quoc Pagoda. This pagoda located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Hanoi built in the 6th century, in The Early Ly Dynasty.
14h30: Then, we visit Temple of Literature (Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam). This is the first university of Vietnam, was founded in 1070. The Temple of Literature is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Northern Vietnam.
15h30: The next destination of Hanoi luxury city tour full day is Hoa Lo Prison. It was built by the French, from 1886 to 1901, when Vietnam was still a part of French Indochina. This prison was called the prison Maison Centrale by the French and “A Hell on Earth” by prisoners. Now, it becomes a war museum for those who want to understand more about the war against French colonial empire of Vietnamese people.

- Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Monday and Friday. But still can take picture of the Mausoleum and visit around that area.
- We will visit Vietnamese Women’s Museum instead of Vietnam Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays.
- Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees in the public places like temples, pagodas, HCM Mausoleum, etc
- Should bring the necessary things, including cash, cellphone or cameras, raincoat/ umbrella, sun block, etc (depending on the weather).
- The order of the itinerary can be changed depending on the situation.
