Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival (Meal:D)

You will be welcomed and greeted by our professional tour guide at Siem Reap airport and transfer to hotel (The room maybe not yet ready until afternoon). Check-in the hotel.

Start to visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. We take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia.

Day 2: Siem Reap -Angkor Wat Full Day Tour (Meals: B/L/D)

After breakfast at hotel, visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat’s five towers symbolize Meru’s five peaks – the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean beyond.

continue to the South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk), the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century), Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara), the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

We will end our day discovering Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Late afternoon, you will enjoy Remork ride (commonly called Tuktuk) around the city and you will have a blessing ceremony by Buddhist monk for the prosperity, happiness and safety for your trip.

– It will be closed on the Buddhist Sabath Days, the Buddhist religious days (four days a month).

Day 3: Siem Reap- Departure-Ho Chi Minh Arrival (Meals: B//) by flight

Breakfast at the hotel, wBreakfast at hotel, free time with your own Leisure till transfer to airport for your departure flight.

We will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Arrive at Tan Son Nhat airport. Driver and Tour guide will Transfer to the city. Check-in your hotel.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City Tour + Cu Chi Tunnel (Meals: L/D)

Breakfast at a hotel. Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification palace, which was built on the site of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu.

Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of both the Indochina wars.

Have lunch at a local restaurant.

Departing for Cu Chi tunnels, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by an introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time.

Then, spend your time exploring the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the specially constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.

Break time for relaxing or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun. Return to Saigon. End trip.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta Tour (Meals: B/L/D)

Breakfast at a hotel. Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and starting your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which dates back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.

Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around the country lane and see orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, and folk song music which is performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.

Ride a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself to the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.

Have lunch at a local restaurant. Break time.

In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoying cool breeze for those who can’t join the cycling trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh City. We have dinner at the local restaurant.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh – Hanoi Arrival (Meal: B) by flight

Breakfast at a hotel. Free at your own activities then transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your next flight.

Welcome guests at Noi Bai International Airport (New Terminal Gate 02 (Meeting point at Column 14)). Our driver will pick you up then transfer to the city for hotel check-in. However, hotel standard check-in time starts from 14:00 hours, early checking into hotel rooms is subject to room availability or at the hotel’s own discretion.

You have a free half-day to explore Hanoi on your own, try local food and chill.

Day 7: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Mua Cave (Meals: B/L/D)

8:00: Get picked up by our friendly guide then depart for Ninh Binh province

09h15: Have a short break for 15 – 20 minutes to relax

10h30: Visit Hoa Lu, ancient capital of Vietnam between 968 and 1010. You have a chance to learn about Vietnamese history in the feudal system under Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasty.

11h45: Have a buffet lunch in the restaurant with many local foods such as goat meat, fish, chicken, and fried rice…Vegetarian foods are always available in the buffet lunch

14h00: Visit Tam Coc by 1.5-hour bamboo boat. You will be surprised by the charming beauty here with paddy fields, river, water, cloud, sky, and a stunning cave system during the boat trip. All make a masterpiece that the Vietnamese people called “Halong Bay on land”

15h30: Continue the tour for 45 mins – cycling around the village to discover the life of the local people.

Day 9: Halong Bay – Hanoi (Meals: B/L/)

You should wake up early to enjoy the dawn on the sea in the early morning. The Vietnamese call the “East Sea” by a point-oriented name “Eastern Sea”, so you may guess how miraculous seeing the sunrise over the islets of the Bay. After breakfast our boat will continue to cruise in marvelous areas, where almost every islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent like Sail Island, Fisherman’s head rock, Butterfly rock or Turtle islet, etc. Lunch onboard, Back to Harbour, and then take our car back to Hanoi for hotel check-in.
