ITINERARY:

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival-Half Day Tour (Meal: L or D)

It depends on your flight. We will arrange a lunch or dinner

➤ Welcome guests at Noi Bai International Airport (New Terminal Gate 02 (Meeting point at Column 10)) then transfer to the city for hotel check-in. However, hotel standard check-in time starts from 14:00 hours, early check-in to hotel rooms are subject to room availability or at the hotel’s own discretion.

➤ After lunch is complete, continue for an electric cart tour in Hanoi Old Quarter & French Quarter.

➤ ELECTRIC CART TOUR (30 – 45 MINUTES) ~ HANOI OLD QUARTER (THE 36 ANCIENT STREETS) – Ride in the heart of Hanoi, the route is about 7km with 10 stations; with Dinh Tien Hoang Street is both the first and the final stop. The itinerary contains up to 28 commercial streets, 13 old streets, 3 pagodas, 8 historic sites and many tourism destinations around Hoan Kiem Lake area and Dong Xuan Market.

Hanoi Old Quarter has a long history of 2000 years of development which is the beating heart of the city. The quarter consists mainly of 36 Old Streets divided and named according to their craft guides in the past, and remains most of that working system until now. This area is also the eternal soul of Hanoian cultural architecture, historic relics and religious center.

Day 2: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Mua Cave (Meals: B/L/D)

Morning, have breakfast at hotel

8:00: Get picked up by our friendly guide then depart for Ninh Binh province

09:15: Have a short break for 15 – 20 minutes to relax

10:30: Visit Hoa Lu, ancient capital of Vietnam between 968 and 1010. You have a chance to learn about Vietnamese history in the feudal system under Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasty.

Here, we go cycling around the village for sightseeing & discovering the life of the local people

12:30: Have a buffet lunch in the restaurant with many local foods such as goat meat, fish, chicken, and fried rice…Vegetarian foods are always available in the buffet lunch

13:30: Visit Tam Coc by 1.5-hour bamboo boat.  You will be surprised by the charming beauty here with paddy fields, river, water, cloud, sky, and a stunning cave system during the boat trip. All make a masterpiece that the Vietnamese people called “Ha Long Bay on land”.

15:30: Get back to the Limousine Bus then leave for Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). Walk up almost 500 steps, you can reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain & have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here.

17:00: Get on the bus to return to Hanoi

19:00: Have dinner at the local restaurant and then get dropped off at a Hotel in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Halong Bay Overnight on Cruise (Meals: B/L/D)

Morning, have breakfast at the hotel.

07:30 – 08:00: You will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and transferred to Ha Long (For guests booking Limousine Bus or shuttle bus only).

11:30 – 12:00: Upon arrival at Tuan Chau International Cruise Port, you will enjoy a warm welcome by our cruise staff in the waiting lounge and complete check-in procedure.

12:00: Upon boarding Amanda Cruise, our crew welcome you with a refreshing drink and cold towel before checking into your cabin. The vessel leaves Tuan Chau Marina, taking you on an exciting journey to discover the beauty of Ha Long Bay. Along the way, you can enjoy the view of some of the most beautiful spots in Ha Long and admire the grandeur of the Bay with thousands of limestone islands while the vessel heads to Trinh Nu Cave. Enjoy your lunch at our luxurious restaurant on board while the vessel cruises toward Trinh Nu cave.

14:00: You return to your cabin for a short rest and prepare for kayaking activities in Trinh Nu Cave area.

15:00: You will be transferred to Trinh Nu Cave by tender. Arriving at Trinh Nu Cave area, you will take part in kayaking activities here. To get to Trinh Nu beach, you need to kayak around thousand-year-old limestone formations and then walk for 5 minutes through Trinh Nu cave. Trinh Nu beach will amaze you with its white sand, emerald water and mild pleasant weather conditions.

17:30 – 18:00: Back on board, you will participate in Sunset party & cooking class while the vessel cruises toward the shore. You can enjoy relaxing moments while sipping a cup of traditional Vietnamese tea or coffee on the sundeck amid wonderful scenery and beautiful sunset. Halong Bay is calm during the day, but when the sun goes down, the Bay becomes even more tranquil and peaceful.

You will be instructed to make delicious traditional Vietnamese steamed rice rolls by our chef and then enjoy the rolls made on your own.

17:30 – 18:30: Happy hour – BUY 2 DRINK GET 1 FOR FREE

19:30: Gala Dinner. Enjoy your dinner on the Sundeck (if the weather is favorable)

20:30: After dinner, you will enjoy a peaceful view of the Bay at night on the deck. You can also participate in evening activities such as massage (subject to additional charge), herbal wood foot bath in your room (free of charge 01 herbal bag for each cabin) or enjoying music and some drinks at Sky Bar while admiring the breathtaking view of the Bay at night and squid fishing.

Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi Departure – Ho Chi Minh Arrival (Meals: B/L/) by flight

06:15: Start your day with Tai Chi class on the sundeck.

06:30 – 07:00: Enjoy a light breakfast with coffee, tea, cake and fruit.

07:30: Exploring Sung Sot cave. This is one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Halong Bay. The cave has some unique rock formations which couldn’t be found anywhere else. The path to the mouth of Sung Sot Cave is under a canopy of leaves. Walking through steep stone steps, tourists may have the feeling of climbing on mountains and experience the excitement as if they are stepping to the sky.

08:30 – 09:30: Back on board, you can rest in your room, enjoy the herbal foot bath prepared by our crew, sunbathe on the sundeck, take pictures of Halong Bay or shop for souvenirs on the boat.

09:30: Check-out time.
Please put your luggage outside your cabin and leave the room key at the reception desk. Our staff will transfer your luggage to the waiting area. While waiting, you can shop for some products of Amanda Cruise.

10:00: Enjoy an early lunch buffet at the restaurant on the 2nd floor and settle the bills if any.

11:00 – 12:00: Arrival at Tuan Chau Marina – ending the cruise on the bay, the car will take you back to Hanoi.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta Tour (Meals: B/L/D)

7:00: You have breakfast at hotel

07:30 – 08:00: Car picks you up at the hotel lobby

Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and starting your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which dates back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.

Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around the country lane and see orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, and folk song music which is performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.

Ride a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself to the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.

Have lunch and break time.

In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoying cool breeze for those who can’t join the cycling trip. Return to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh – Siem Reap Arrival (Meal: B/) by flight

8:00: Our car picks you up at Tan Son Nhat airport to fly to Siem Reap International Airport.

Arrival in Siem Reap Cambodia, transfer to hotel for check in.

Day 7: Siem Reap – Angkor Wat Full Day Tour (Meals: B/L/D) 

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat five towers symbolize Merus’ five peaks – the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean beyond.

We continue to the  South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk), the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century), Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara), the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace  and the  Terrace of the Leper King.

We will end our day discovering Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Late afternoon, you will enjoy a Remork ride (commonly called Tuktuk) around the city and you will have a blessing ceremony by a Buddhist monk for prosperity, happiness and safety for your trip. Note: During the visit of the Bakan Tower of Angkor Wat Temple 

– Visitors are required to wear proper attire, covering shoulders and knees (no short, miniskirt or short trousers).

– Visitors have to be in the queue and waiting to climb up the Bakan Tower of Angkor Wat

– Children under twelve years old are not allowed to climb up this tower.

– It will be closed on the Buddhist Sabath Days, the Buddhist religious days (four days a month).

Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 8: Siem Reap – Tonle Sap – Departure (Meals: B/L/) by flight

Flight info: 

Breakfast at the hotel, we visit the floating village, located about 15 kilometers south of Siem Reap. We take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the Great Lake of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. We spent the rest of the day visiting the Chantiers Ecoles – Les Artisans Angkor which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

Meals Lunch: Joan Yaklow restaurant (or similar)

After lunch, we will transfer you to the airport for your flight back home. End your 8 days Vietnam Cambodia tour.
