1. GC Bar (Golden Cock)

The best-known gay bar and one of the longest-running gay venues in Hanoi GC Bar gets very busy on Friday and Saturday nights, with gay locals, expats and foreigners.

There’s a pool table, some stools and chairs but no dance floor. Located near the Hoan Kiem Lake. The bar is relatively easy to find (although there are two streets sharing the same name).

From the lake, walk down Ngo Bao Khanh Street (away from the lake) and turn right at Khanh Street. GC Bar is about 50 metres down. There is an illuminated sign above the doors.

2. Savage

New cocktail bar in Hanoi, owned and run by a French gay guy. Savage welcomes everyone – gay and straight, with (in the near future) a monthly gay night.

Their music with DJ, a dancing room (no photos, please) and free WiFi – check their Facebook page the latest updates.

3. TITAN Sauna

The latest addition to the gay sauna scene in Hanoi. TITAN Sauna has clean, modern facilities including Himalayan rock salt steam room, sauna, lockers, showers, lounge area, dark room and cabins.
