Mai Chau Rustic Home- Smile Travel

Mai Chau Rustic Home is located in Mai Chau, in a small and quiet alley. It is a way to experience the daily life, as our guests will have the feeling to be part of the community. All the neighbors are local villagers and they live the traditional way without being impacted by tourism. From the hotel, guests can have a quick walk to the small hill to enjoy one of the most fabulous views of Mai Chau or wander in the village and contemplate how the locals live. The two floors’ house is surrounding a large swimming pool. Our six deluxe rooms are fully equipped and nicely decorated with bamboo ceiling and wood furniture. The first floor’s rooms give direct access to the swimming pool. The second floor’s rooms benefit from a terrace with a mountain view where they can chill reading a book or enjoying a drink. The dormitory is in a traditional wooden house on stilt. It creates a warm atmosphere and an immediate “at home” feeling.

Deluxe & Triple Rooms
Our deluxe rooms are fully equipped with a western mattress covered by a mosquito net. For your comfort, the air conditioning is reversible for a cocooning feeling the whole year. Nicely decorated with bamboo and wood, the alliance of modernity and rusticity provides a pleasant sensation at your first step in. All rooms also have a comfortable sofa and outdoor chairs. A kettle, free coffee, fan, bathrobe, slippers are completing the amenities. Different options are available from the double, the triple and the quadruple room.

Infinity Pool in Mai Chau Rustic Home

We fill our infinity pool with the clear water of the stream passing along the Retreat and no chemicals are added. Our packaging is made from recycled material such as wood or paper. We limit as much as possible our use of plastic or polystyrene. We also grow up our own organic vegetables in our garden and we select carefully our supplier to be eco-responsible in their production. Our staff is trained to be eco-oriented by separating trashes and minimize the waste of water and power consumption. We believe that the ecologic program can succeed only if everybody is involved in so we do spread our green philosophy to the locals but also to our customers.
