THE ITINERARY:

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – Hanoi Walking Tour

Hanoi City Tour

Welcome guests at Noi Bai International Airport (New Terminal Gate 02 (Meeting point at Column 10)) then transfer to the city for the Hanoi Walking Tour. Day 2: Hanoi –Hoa Lu-Tam Coc OR Trang An Eco Tourism Complex (Meals:B/L) -Night train to Sapa (Overnight on the train)

Breakfast at the hotel, departing to Ninh Binh Province, we visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. In 968, Dinh Bo Linh declared himself as the King. Since then Hoa Lu existed as the capital for the next 41 years (968 – 1009), of which 12 years was under the Dinh dynasty – King Dinh Tien Hoang, the country named Dai Co Viet, and 29 years later was under the Le dynasty – King Le Dai Hanh. In 1010, King Ly Thai moved the capital from Hoa Lu to Thang Long – present Hanoi. Hoa Lu became the old citadel. In Hoa Lu there are now 2 temples built on the ground of the old royal palace, one is dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang, the other is to King Le Dai Hanh. The visit offers a chance to know more about part of feudal dynasties and historical periods in Vietnamese history.

➤ Proceed to local restaurant for lunch and continue an amazing boat ride to Tam Coc, you will get on bamboo boat – rowed by the local people – in Hoang Long River to visit Tam Coc (three caves) on the way, you also have chance to see the paddy field if you visit Tam Coc in April or September.

➤ After the boat trip, we drive back to Hanoi. Enjoy dinner on your own.

Day 3: Lao Cai Station- Bac Ha Market-Sapa (Meals:B/L)

Morning: 

Arriving at Lao Cai Station, Driver and tour guide will welcome you then have breakfast at a restaurant. After breakfast, you will take a 2:30 hour drive to Bac Ha market. Arriving at Bac Ha Market, we visit the big market and the colorful ethnic people of the Flower H’mong, Phu La and Dao Tuyen minorities…, who gather here to buy and sell their handicraft products. The market itself is a gathering place for the many ethnic minority tribes such as the Flower H’Mong, Dzao, Tay, Nung and Phu La to trade and sell their wares and it is always full of life. It is most well-known for providing handmade goods, many different types of local wines, local food as Thang Co Ngua ( Horse stew), and for trading animals including horses, dogs, brids, snakes, goats, and especially water buffalo. After spending the morning exploring the market, your lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

Afternoon Activities

We visit a Black H’Mong village near the market. You will spend over a half-hour in the village where you can learn more about the culture and ways of life of the ethnic minority tribes unique to  this region.

On the return towards Sapa you will see the border of China from the city of Lao Cai where large amounts of industry and shipping take place.

Day 4: Sapa- Fansipan Peak- O Quy Ho Pass- Cat Cat Village (Meals:B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel, The Driver & tour guide takes you to visit O Quy Ho Pass and then A short drive to Cable Car Station and spend 20 minutes with a cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery.

Reach the altitude of 2,800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit 

pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan – the Roof of Indochina. 

Back to the town for Lunch.

Afternoon:

Visiting Cat Cat village which is home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for a photo with bridge and waterfall then you will walk uphill for a bus to pick up to get back to Sapa .

Day 5: Sapa- Lao Chai- Ta Van Village-Hanoi (Meals:B/L)

Have breakfast at hotel, A short drive to Y Linh Ho then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain after that heading to Ta Van village – home of Dzay ethnic people. Bus picks you up at Ta Van Bridge to Sapa. Have lunch at a local restaurant.

Relax and leisure on your own, shopping 

15.00: Get on the bus to go back to Hanoi with two comfort breaks.

20.00: Arrive hanoi.

08:00 Car picks you up from your hotel and transfers to the pier to board a superior cruise where welcome drinks await. After check– in, enjoy a delicious seafood lunch while cruising through the magical bay where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the water like dragon teeth.

After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay on Titop Island. Swim on a quiet beach or sunbathe on the deck. In the afternoon, back on board for the sunset view and have a chance to enjoy cooking class at a restaurant then enjoy the meal you have prepared.

After dinner time you are free for some activities: Squid fishing, karaoke…

Wake up call to admire the dramatic sunrise on the bay. Relax with a tea or coffee cup before departing to the splendid Sung Sot Cave where stalactites hang from the high ceiling.

Enjoy lunch with Vietnamese cuisine onboard while cruising back to harbor for a transfer back to your hotel in Hanoi.
