Day 1: Ho Chi Minh Arrival

HO CHI MINH CITY

Arrival Noi Bai international airport, meet up our tour guide and transfer to your hotel in Hanoi.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh- Mekong Delta Tour (B/L/D)

Mekong Delta Tour 1 Day

Breakfast at the hotel. 08h00: Our guide will pick you up from your hotel, depart for Mekong Delta

Enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet. Have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music“, performed by locals.

Visit a family business that epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. Meet the bus and return to Ho Chi Minh City. Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City Tour- Cu Chi Tunnel (B/L/D)

The morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office.

Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of both the Indochina wars.

Have lunch at a local restaurant.

Cu Chi Tunnel- Ho Chi Minh

Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by an introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the wartime. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the specially constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purposes during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.

Break time to relaxing or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City- Siem Reap (B/L/D) by flight

Day 5: Siem Reap Angkor Tour (B/L/D)

Temple of Ta Prohm

Breakfast at the hotel – The sightseeing tour of Angkor area we spend a full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with Columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple and the jungle-covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man’s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. Note: During the visit of the Bakan Tower of Angkor Wat Temple

– Visitors are required to wear proper attire, covering shoulders and knees (no shorts, miniskirt or short trousers).

– Visitors have to be in the queue and waiting to climb up the Bakan Tower of Angkor Wat

– Children under twelve years old are not allowed to climb up this tower.

– It will be closed on the Buddhist Sabbath Days, the Buddhist religious days (four days a month).

Day 6: Siem Reap Tour- Tonle Sap Lake- Departure (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel: This morning, by car to the Pouk district about 15 Km in the West of Siem Reap town you visit the silk farm, a fascinating farm/workshop where you can see the entire silk creation process including growing the food for the silkworms, breeding the worms, silk extraction and refinement, traditional kit dying pattern creation and looming. Retail silk and souvenir shop. On the way back, visit the Western Baray (Baray Occidental) measuring 8 km by 2.3 km which provided water for the intensive cultivation of lands around Angkor. Afternoon, visiting the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 13 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a traditional wooden boat for a ride on the Tonle Sap Lake, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia, where you can find schools, restaurants, and hospitals and much more on the great lake of Tonle Sap. Return to the town for some shopping. And transfer to the airport for flight departure.
