FULL ITINERARY:

Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi

Arrival Noi Bai international airport, welcomed by our driver and transfer to your hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong – Overnight cruise (Meals: L/D)

7:30 – 8:30: Our guide will meet you at your hotel. The shuttle bus or private car pick up. Enjoy the peaceful scenery as we travel through the countryside, farmlands and Red River delta.

12:00 – 12:30: Arriving Tuan Chau Marina. Welcome aboard the cruise. Meet the captain, crew and join us for a welcome drink as we tell you about life onboard.

Check into your cabin. Time to refresh and unwind.

Served a delectable lunch while cruising ahead to Ha Long Bay.

Afternoon Activities:

Explore the Surprising Cave – the most beautiful cave in Ha long Bay. It is one of the widest grottoes in Ha Long Bay with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites.

Day 3: Halong – Hanoi – Overnight train to Sapa (Meals: B/L/)

6:30 – 6:45: Start your day with a photo hunt.

Have breakfast on board while the boat starts cruising to the Natural Preservation Zone.

Kayaking to explore the area or visit a floating house and learn about the daily life of the local fishermen who live there.

We boat the cruise again. Take time to refresh and relax before checking out. Bags can be left in the luggage store.

Continue your cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more…

Join in the Cooking Class, teach you how to make our specifically (Spring rolls) before an early lunch is served.

11:30-12:00 Disembark at the harbor, Tuan Chau Marina.

Transfer to a minibus or private and return to Hanoi.

Arrival back at your hotel at approximately 16:30/17:00.

Overnight on Night Train

Day 4: Lao Cai – Sapa – Cat Cat Village (Meals: B/L/)

Pick up at the train station when you arrive and transfer to Sapa by Van.

Early check-in is possible when you arrive if the room is available otherwise we will provide you with a basic room where you can have a shower. (hotel booked on your own).

Sapa

8:00 A walk down to the gate of Cat Cat village which is home to Black H’ mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for a photo with the bridge and waterfall then you will walk uphill for the bus to pick up to get back to Sapa. Enjoy your lunch at a restaurant.

Visit Sapa Church, Ham Rong Mountain, Shopping…

Day 5: Sapa – Trekking to Ylinh Ho – Lao Cai – Sapa – Hanoi (Meals: B/L/)

7.00 – 8.00: Have breakfast at the hotel, check out the room and prepare a light pack for trekking. (Big luggage keep in hotel store)

8.00: A short drive to Y Linh Ho then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain after that heading to Ta Van village – home of Dzay ethnic people.

Trekking distance is about 9 km and it lasts for 3.5 hours

11.30: Bus picks you up at Ta Van Bridge to Sapa.

12.30 – 13.30: Have lunch

13.30 – 14.45: Relax and leisure on your own, have a shower in the public bathroom in the hotel if you want.

14.45 – 15.00: Meet all group members at a hotel to get ready for Hanoi.

15.30: Get on the bus to go back to Hanoi with two comfort breaks.

21.15: We say goodbye to you at your hotel/stay. Trip ends.

Warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March
Due to the altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February and March.
Trekking shoes, sunglasses, sun cream, insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash with you in Vietnam Dong because the banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollar, Euro, Australia Dollar are accepted in Sapa.
You should take medicine with you although there are some chemist’s shops in Sapa in case you get sick.
